98 is too good to be true.. especially once it sits in the lcbo warehouse for a while.

Why does one of the biggest booze monopolies in the world need to keep these lists so short? Why can't you give us at least 20 seasonal choice.
Don't get greedy!

I would like to see them focus on improving their warehouse-to-shelf turnover rate before they start bringing in huge numbers of new SKUs. 20 new labels every season would be great... but not if they're showing up 3 months late, and all of the hop-forward ones are stale and not worth paying for.

Just want to restore what we had 1-2 years ago. Seems standards are going down, both quantitatively and qualitatively.

Yes, that is important. If logistics are a problem, they should consider flagging certain beer styles for faster shelf delivery so that they can be enjoyed sooner, leaving the maltier beers on the list that can wait longer, for later delivery in that season.

We've gone over this. The LCBO gave up brewery features and stated they were reducing their seasonal offering right after they negotiated selling 12 packs and getting beer in grocery stores.Lukie wrote:spinrsx wrote:Don't get greedy!

There was no implicit statement saying this was at the request of the macro owned beer store, but you could see this being part of the negotiations, along the lines of "we'll give you twelve packs and allow grocery outlets, if you stop bringing in the good stuff only available at the LCBO, so that we level the playing field and can compete with our swill..."
