I've been collecting branded beer glasses for a number of years now, using a variety of sources.
- Purchase from the brewery, either by visiting or contacting them over the phone or the web.
- Purchase from your local pub. Some actually have a pre-defined policy on glass sales (e.g. The Esplanade Bier Markt). Others might sell you the glass at a price agreed on at the time. Others will not sell you the glass no matter what.
- Purchase over the web. I have ordered some terrific glasses from these American sites:
- LCBO Christmas gift packs. I've collected a nice Chimay goblet, a Christoffel Tulip, a terrific La Trappe goblet, etc etc etc.
- Beer shows. I've picked up some Unibroue and Niagara Falls glasses at recent Toronto Beer Shows.
- eBay and brewerania shows. I've never gone this route, but there are glasses for sale at eBay.
- The Premier Gourmet. I picked some glasses up on my last trip.

I've been collecting glassware for about a year now. Ontario is a difficult jurisdiction in which to engage in this pursuit.
I agree with Mississauga Matt's suggestions but offer this warning. Ordering online can be expensive especially if custums gets ahold of your package. A $40.00 American order has cost me over $100.00 Canadian once duty, taxes, and exchange are factored in.
Ebay is probably your best choice online. I've never had a problem just make sure to check the Feedback regarding the seller. If you're lucky you can get some deals.
Beer & breweriania shows in Ontario have not brought me much luck. Most beer shows are afraid of anything that can be broken and the breweriania show at the Steam Whistle seems to be focused on bottles, labels, caps, etc. Very few glasses.
Premier Gourmet is great, as well as Beers of the World in Rochester, New York. Also, the better beer stores in Montreal have a good glassware selection.
Also, second hand stores like Value Village will everynow and again have something interesting. This might be your best bet up in Sudbury (I'm from North Bay and I know how abysmal the beer scene is up there)
Also, contact the reps. I've bought some excellent glassware from esprit.
If there is anything I can do to help you build your collection let me know. I'm not adverse to trading or picking something up for you. I'm usually in North Bay about 4-5 times a year and, in fact, I'll be in Sudbury for work in Feb.
We glassware collectors should keep in touch. It's nice to know some people share the same silly obsessions that I have.
Cheers, Joe.

After living in Germany for the past 6 months, I had tallied a good 40 glasses, mainly from pubs and flea markets. They were not actually that difficult to get back to canada in the suitcase - only one broke.
I found that these flea markets were fabulous sources for interesting glasses, especially old ones. I am yet to visit one here though, yet am wondering if they might be just as good a source for us beer glass collectors? Other than that, I am unable to find any other good glass centres in the area.

Glasses are expensive to get. They - at least ours - are imported. Some are gratis from the supplier some are paid for. Either way, the landed cost here is nothing to sneeze at. Nonetheless, we do have some kicking around for our truest and most devoted beer lovers ... so give us a call. We'll see what we can do. Cheers, Paul.
