Ha! I got that email too and just immediately deleted it. Kind of funny they have the teaser in an email titled "Ready for the long weekend?"
I still have a bottle in my cellar that I'm no closer to opening that since I bought it, so I'll let others grab this! Would be nice if BCBS came back this fall though.

Just a general peeve of mine, and others have mentioned, that the LCBO focuses so little on beer versus wine. I posted it partially because I was so shocked there was something beer-related in their ad.
The SAQ sells so much less beer, but their focus on it seems to be way higher than if the LCBO sold the same amount.

I used to sell beer. Now I don't.
Pretty sure it's well over 230 USD in the states though, so it's a (relative) deal getting it through the LCBO
I bought a bottle the last time it was available here and took it into my previous work's booze club weekly "meetings" for sampling. Everyone who tried it shrugged at it and said it was a cool bottle. Didn't finish the bottle that night and it's still sitting untouched since then on my liquor shelf.

sure, and that's stupid too. Over a 55% increase in the last 8 years. Granted many Scotches have increased that much in the same time period, but that's laughable to me as well. There are so many other things better than this at lower price points imo, but to each their own.

It's $330 USD ($444.44 CAD) at Premier Gourmet.
Not interested at this price or even $100, but it is quite the novelty.

Could very well be.
Also some people who view things as more expensive = more good.
I'm looking to go to Buffalo/Niagara in the next little bit so I'll see if it's behind glass or something.
LCBO availability kind of in relation to the upcoming convenience store sales.
Surprised and delighted to see YoHo stuff in the LCBO. They were part of the early craft beer wave in Japan. While their stuff is not as fancy as Baird, it was always very available, and the best stuff in Lawson convenience stores. Supremely nostalgic.
I would have thought any of their core pale ale, IPA, porter, or wheat would have landed instead of these two.
Sorry Nippon Citrus Yuzu Session Ale
Yoho Sakura Mochi Stout

Oh that's a big price increase form last time we had it.
I thought it might be around $150.
Too rich for me! Bought a couple different bottles years ago when they were around $120 I think.

Down to 560 now. Moving pretty slowly this year, from the looks of it.
