New Bar Volo website now and the cask & draft list is no longer available. When queried about, received this response:
unfortunately we have decided to stop updating our websites with tap and cask lists. As our businesses expand and with our new website host, it has become challenging to keep up to date on a daily basis. That being said, we will continue to focus on a fresh and rotating tap list at both locations.
Disappointing. I don't typically go blind to bars without seeing what's on offer. An online frequently updated list has actually gotten me to go more often when I see something I want to try. Now I'll be going significantly less. :-?

I agree. I don't like walking into a place and walking out.

Weather is nice, so at least until fall there are lots of nice alternatives.

I also like being able to see tap lists online but not going somewhere just because the tap list is not posted sounds... like an over reaction.

Personally I can't imagine arriving at either Volo location and not finding a single beer I was willing to drink for at least a round or two, but these days I am usually going to Volo because I want to go to Volo, not to chase a specific beer.

Even allowing for the fact that maybe I don't go out much anymore, I genuinely can't remember the last time I was at a bar that didn't have at least one tap I was willing to drink. I guess I pick good places?

I guess if it really bothers you that much you can check Untappd to see what people have recently checked in.

I think it's safe to say that if there's one place in Toronto where you can rely on a quality selection every time, it's Volo.

Do Volo not share their tap list on untappd? I've pretty much stopped using untappd, but that was a handy feature that I think makes a lot of sense for all the serious beer bars to adopt.

If you look at the clientele at Volo these days, it's abundantly clear that their primary patrons are no longer male (mostly) beer geeks. It's completely unsurprising that putting their list online or using Untappd is off their priority list.

My wife has been lamenting for a while that there is no longer any safe reliable place to go hit on male beer geeks. Something, something too much competition now. :D

:P Hell, even I miss the days of being able to go out and randomly find some beer dudes to chat with!
