The burgers at Yellow Griffin are excellent but, yes, the service does lack.tupalev wrote:That's funny, last night I had the poutine and the Mushroom Chowder...
Yellow Griffin is a weird little place (28 different burgers! screams the sign) that I had pretty bad service in a few times, so I have not been back in a few years (plus their beer selection was firkin-esque). I'll check it out again and report back.
The Griffen normally has Black Oak Pale Ale and lots of generic crap on tap, and very very tasty burgers (the 30 or so topping cominations multiply rapidly when you factor in the 5 or 6 types of patty and 5 or 6 possible sides), but the service is lousy lousy lousy most of the time.mds wrote:The burgers at Yellow Griffin are excellent but, yes, the service does lack.tupalev wrote:That's funny, last night I had the poutine and the Mushroom Chowder...

They have Black Oak Pale Ale on tap regularly...though when I went last thursday they were out of it. Other than that there isn't anything interesting on tap.
