Propeller product placement

Post by GregClow »

I just wanted to congratulate the folks at Propeller for the appearance of many bottles of one of their beers on the latest episode of Trailer Park Boys. I would never have pegged Ricky and Ray as Propeller drinkers - seems a little high-end for their tastes and lifestyle.

That is kind of odd. At the NSLC Beer Gala 2 years ago, Ricky showed up and headed straight for the Keith's table. He was the only one who got poured a full mug, too. The rest of us had to settle for a ounce or two of Rochefort at a time.

Which beer was it by the way?

It wasn't clear/close enough for me to make out the beer name, but I could definately see the Propeller logo.

Was it "Propeller Extra Cold" by any chance?

(That's a knock on beer commercials, not the fine quality of Propellor's beers which so far as I can say totally rock.)

Hi Everyone,

I can confirm to you all that Propeller is indeed being "featured" in season six of TPB as well as making a grand appearance in the upcoming movie version. I believe the Bitter bottles have been featured in recent episodes. I have seen an early trailer/teaser of the movie and there is one scene where Ricky actually drinks a bitter. His dad in the movie is going to be drinking out of Propeller growlers. Kinda Cool!

BTW - Bobby Beer, thanks for the great article in the NSLC Magazine!
