Well, I guess my point is I don't really see where they get any great cost savings from this because obviously their brew is sweet from a sugar rich wort...and they claim they only use malt and malt extracts......and they have a long cold aging cycle...so the stuff isn't all that cheap to produce...but like Molcoorbatt they ain't hurtin' in the mark up department when you consider oz. for oz. you can get better tasting canned imports for the same or less.
They actually claim to use malt extracts (on the tour I presume)? That surprises me. I would have expected that they would only claim publicly that its all malt, even if extracts are used.

As for cheapness of production, I imagine the ingredient formulation is determined far more in the accounting department than the brewhouse.
