I've been there a couple of times in the last month. They have several beers that don't appear on the menu, and the selections do seem to change by season. (For example, they have Lindeman's Gueuze and La Trappe Quadrupel, among others, right now.) Just call ahead if you're coming from out of town. (I'll try to snag an updated beer list next time I'm in there)

It's definitely worth checking out. I'm guessing about 35 minutes from Port Hope, and maybe just under an hour from Oshawa.

Following up my own post - The gentleman owner, Roland, was kind enough to lend me use of his current beer menu, which contains, by my count, 76 beers. This includes both foreign and domestic, bottled and draft. The majority are bottled and foreign.

Some notable foreign bottles not listed on their online menu are: Rochefort 6 and 10, Westmalle Dubbel, La Trappe Quadrupel, Sint Bernardus Abt 12 and Tripel, Mort Subite Framboise and Gueuze, Achel Blonde and Brune, Petrus Tripel and Speciale, Deus Brut des Flandres, St. Paul Double, and Tripel Karmeliet. And a few others.
For domestic bottles, he has 5 or 6 Unibroue, as well as Wellington Imperial Stout(!).
The menu also tells me that he has Delerium Tremens on tap, as well as Leffe Brune.
There is also a "Recently Acquired Beer" insert, listing Kasteel (Donker?), Abbaye de Roc (?), Jenlain Biere de Garde (Ambree?), Saison Dupont, Lindemans Gueuze Cuvee Renee, and Lindemans Pecheresse. And a couple of others.

So, there you have it. And the food is growing on me as well. Literally. Great place.

While I'm overrunning this thread, let me also plug another little place in Peterborough called the Ritz Deli North, which is small, but had Denisons Weissbier on tap, and a cask of County Durham ESB, along with some interesting bottles when I was there last.

"Literally", eh? Like, you actually have food from St. Veronus growing on your body?

Wow, that must be quite a sight!

Well . . . to be specific, it's no longer in the form of food. It more closely resembles a small inner tube, hanging around my waist.

We were at the Shrimp Cocktail in Whitby last night, delicious meal, had to send my Leffe back though as it was quite off. Tried instead their "Shrimp Lager", and was pleasently surprised. While rather light, it still had a bit of a banana and citrus flavour.
