I feel your pain, guys. I was a vegetarian (well, almost - I still ate seafood) for many years until a year or so ago, and missed a few nice looking events because of it.
But I can tell you from past experience that some places are willing to do a vegetarian option if requested. Never hurts to call and ask.

ya, the wit's not bad. interestingly, they claim it's completely spice-free though.Rob Creighton wrote:The Bavaria has been on tap in Elora at Shepherds pub and the Kiwi in Cambridge since around Christmas. Very mainstream lager. I tried a sample of the La Trappe Witte Trappist at the Castle last week. Interesting spice flavours.

Interesting sounding beer. How was it? Can you remember how much you got for the pour and the cost? I wouldn't mind trying it out, but after buying two new suits I'm pretty cost conscious right now!DAN-D-MAN wrote:I was not able to attend this event, however I visited them last night and to my pleasant surprise, they had the Koningshoeven Trappist Bock on tap. Adam explained that his supplier ended up providing him with two kegs of the Bock, so he is serving it now. Get some while you can!
