Where can I buy a hydrometer in the city?

Post by JesseMcG »

Last night I was about to make my first batch of beer at home, but my friend shattered my hydrometer while sterilizing. Now I can't find ANYWHERE downtown that sells one.

Anyone know of a place? Thanks.

Most wine making stores sell hydrometers. I broke mine and went to a BOP wine only store and they had lots in stock.

I've called a couple that are as close as possible to downtown, and none of them have them.

Could you be more specific? What BOP place are you talking about?

Thanks.

I've seen them at the wine place in Mirvish village near Bathurst and Bloor. I think it's called Wine Boutique now (used to be one of the Wine Not franchises I believe). Something like 8 or 9 bucks, but my memory may not be serving me correctly.
