Wine and Beer Factory (Brampton) closes

Post by Slacks »

Hey all,

Brand new home brewer-to-be here who this past week has been researching home brewing supply stores in the GTA. Lots of reference to Wine and Beer Factory online, including these forums, so I felt it important to inform everyone that they have closed.

I just popped into the Naked Vine in Bolton to see what they had and she informed me she was at the liquidation yesterday. I'm assuming this means no home brew supply shops in the northern GTA. Fortunately, the Naked Vine has offered to special order in anything I need on the equipment side but I can't vouch for them yet.

Anyways, just an FYI.

Cheers,
Rick.

That sucks. You really have to make an effort to get homebrew ingredients in this region (especially if you do not own a car).

Off to brew a bitter!
