Bulk Grains?

Post by Gedge »

Besides Grains Process in Scarborough are there any places to get grains in bulk? I'm looking for someplace that carries pilsner malt (which GP does not).

When I called today they said they don't stock pilsner malt. Now, it could be the person I dealt with didn't know what they were talking about as she hemmed and hawed a bit (and was not someone from the retail store).

When I asked for their full list of grains last week Belgian pils was not among them (I wish it was!).

I would assume Gilbertson and Paige as from what I remember grain process only had two row.

Grains Process carries about 8 or 9 varieties.

Of the top of my head Vienna, wheat, 2-row, chocolate - few others. You'd have to call for the full list.

sorry for the confusion... i was talking about gilbertson+page in fergus (where i buy all my bulk grains) and not grains process (which is more limited and not quite as cost friendly as G+P).
