Auto-siphon?

Post by Gedge »

Anyone seen auto-siphons around T.O. Maybe at one of the winemaking shops?

I haven't seen them at the shops I've been to in Toronto. They can be ordered from www.homebrew-supplies.ca in Brampton or www.clickabrew.com in Newfoundland.

meh, i think they're overrated. after 6-12months they seem to lose their seal and become more hassle than they're worth. and starting a siphon really isn't all that hard...

I bought one, tried it twice, then gave it away.

I start my siphon in a 5 gallon pail of starsan, run it for a bit, then pinch it off - then move it over to the beer, run off the starsan in the hose, then let er rip.
