Beer books in T.O.?

Post by Gedge »

Spefically looking for Brew Like a Monk by Stan Hieronymus. Is there someplace in town that stocks a decent selection of beer books (besides the large chains)? Easy enough to track down online (though amazon.ca and indigo.ca are sold out), just asking on the off-chance I can get it in-person locally.

The best selection of beer books I've seen in town is at World's Biggest Book Store - and even there, the selection isn't fantastic.

I recall seeing Brew Like A Monk there, though. So if you're looking for that book specifically, it might be your best bet.

If anyone's interested, I spotted a single copy of Brew Like a Monk at the Bloor/Spadina BMV today for $6.99. Look in the cooking section with the other drinks books.
Here's to the slow path.

when i was looking for BLAM + FA + WB, i had no luck at most local bookstores. ended up getting all three from chapters.ca, cheaper than anywhere else i found, and it was one of the only places that had all three and they were listed as being in stock. i had the box in hand within a week of ordering.

BLAM is a great book, even if you're not a brew. heck, for that matter they all are. great to hear all the history and learn some of the details about some of the fantastic brews out there.
