From the Church Key Revival today I had

Holy Smoke, Brown, West Coast and the Weizenbock. Tried a sample of both the Lift Lock and the Cranberry Maple Wheat.

I quite enjoyed the Holy Smoke and Weizenbock, and have had all but the Maple Wheat before. The Maple Wheat was overly sweet and kool-aid flavour to my liking, but my MiL quite enjoyed it.

Chilling out with a 2005 St. Bernardus Abt 12. Still a nice belgian, age doesn't change it much.

I don't always piss in a bottle but when I do...I prefer to call it Dos Equis.

Piraat from Belgium:a nice surprise today with my lunch
Well past 2006 'expiry' This is now a fantastic rich, rounded ale packed full of fruity esters, spicy tones and zero sign of madeirization. 33cl Bottle pours a thick creamy dark blonde with ripe tropical fruit and lemon aromas. Head is fine, very active and noisy in my Westmalle chalice. Fruits of overripe pear, maracuja, papaya and the like, The alcohol is simply a warm influence. Not too rough! Aging can be a good thing.
I also have an "expired-in-2006" Gulden Draak. Very similar beer.

Railway City Summer Draught. AN interesting combo of pilsner flavours mixed into a fruity golden ale. They used Saaz and cluster hops for this and it is refreshing, yet medium bodied.

ST Jahva - the first of my case. I was worried it wouldn't be worth the money, but I need not have stressed. An epic beer, coffee-wise its close o peche mortel for the crown, but not quite there.

Fuller's ESB - man this was a gorgeous beer. Poured with a nicest head I've seen thats not had a widget in the can. I've had better bottled ESB's, but never one out of a can, so I'm quite impressed
