Seems like a good deal. $50 for the tickets for the Girls event or $45 for the regular addmission. Comes with entrance throught VIP gate, better washrooms and an extra pint for only $5 more.
Heck I would have paid $5 to skip the giant line up to get in last year.
It is only a good deal if you get over the fact that $45 is way too much to pay for addmission in the first place though.

Actually, regular admission on Thursday is $50. Friday-Sunday is $45.toweringpine wrote:Seems like a good deal. $50 for the tickets for the Girls event or $45 for the regular addmission. Comes with entrance throught VIP gate, better washrooms and an extra pint for only $5 more.
Not sure why they're charging more for Thursday this year. It made a bit of sense the last couple of years because they had a bigger band headlining the music on the Thursdays and played it up as more of a "VIP" night. But this year, every day/night has a "name" band, and there doesn't seem to be much special about Thursday in comparison to the other days.
I'm also confused by the claims that the new venue is SO MUCH BIGGER than Fort York. Maybe I'm spatially challenged, but Bandshell Park really doesn't seem much bigger to me - if anything, it might even be smaller.

Oh, I'm definitely an LoG fan, even from before I saw Little Britain. Brilliant stuff. Or should that be "Special" Stuff?Wheatsheaf wrote:
But is it a local event?
What, no LoG fans?

Have you checked out Psychoville? It's a new series by Pemberton and Shearsmith of LoG that just finished running on the BBC. Not quite as good as LoG, and the last episode in particular was a bit disappointing, but still well worth watching.
