St-Ambroise Great Pumpkin Ale

Post by nickelass »

Just picked up some from Marche Jovi in Hull today. They only just got 20 cases in this morning, so if you're in Ottawa go grab some!

Harsh, I can't make it over there until next week, and I've been itching to try this one. I'd be surprised if it disappeared by then however.

Is this different from the Pumpkin beer they've released in previous years? I don't recall it being called "Great Pumpkin" before.

Is this the bottle you're familiar with or a new one? It says Great Pumpkin Ale at the bottom of the label.

Same bottle. Looks like "The Great Pumpkin Ale" is a slogan rather than the beer name.

Was it Linus or Charlie Brown of Peanuts who would not shut up about The Great Pumpkin?

Is this coming to the LCBO this year?

Oh, and it is Linus who believes in "The Great Pumpkin".

I remember like 5 sixers (or 4 packs?) made it to KW for less than a day last year, and it was one of the least accessible LCBO's in town. I was so pissed off.

I drove to Bradford to get the last two bottles there after I bought only one at my local a couple days before. Won't make that mistake again

Does anyone know if the LCBO will be getting any of the St Ambroise Pumpkin Ale in this year?

After managing to find only 1 bottle last year, I'd jump at stocking up a bunch ASAP, if possible...

I managed to score two four packs last year, but only because I got my brother-in-law to pick some up in Ajax for me.
