Another quick trip to Port Huron, MI
Sprecher Black Bavarian Schwarzbier mmmmm....
Arbor Brewing Jackhammer Old Ale
Bells Two Hearted IPA
Then a DIPA showdown
Founders Double Trouble
Bells The Oracle
Both remarkable brews, but The Oracle may be the best DIPA I've ever had. Mega piney and citrusy but with a surprising malt backbone. Super rare though, I'm going back over tomorrow to buy as much as they'll sell me as we may never see it again.

Mostly on Friday night, but here's what I drank this weekend (with help):
La Chouffe
Weihenstephaner Korbinian
Weihenstephaner Vitus
Weihenstephaner Hefe Dunkel
Wild Rose Dunkelweisse
Charlevoix Dominus Vobiscum Double
Great Lakes Eliot Ness
Driftwood Sartori Harvest
Pannepot Grand Reserva 2005
Flying Dog Horn Dog 2005
Allagash White
Rodenbach Grand Cru
Péché Mortel
Duggan Number 9
All excellent beers, but my favourite from recent drinking was the Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold that I had on Thursday. Those guys really know how to make a great lager!

Really?
It's always tasted sour and off to me. Tap has given better results, but still rides up on the bland side.
Its pretty flavourful IMO. Give it a try again.
