I just find that statement so funny.

Still it is good to know that the wheels are turning and so forth...

Oh no, here we go again, eh?

Sigh, methinks this calls for desperate measures. Who's up for a night raid of LCBO HQ's warehouse? May be the only way some of us ever get this stuff...at least before January...

Sounds like a reasonable plan. Harsh, but fair.

See you there.

They have most of them at the LCBO in the kingsway. I just picked some up today:
XO Beer
La Terrible
Leute Bokbier
Rogue Yellow Snow Ale
Weltenburger Kloster Asam-Bock
Mahr's Brau Wheatbeer

I didn't see Cochonnette and some others. That's all I picked up because I was commuting on the subway.

Too bad there isn't a GOOD LCBO closer to my home.

Well, looks like the night raid is off.

Apologies if this is old news to everyone, but since I haven't seen it mentioned, just thought I'd say it looks like almost the full selection of Winter Warmers is now out at the Atrium on Bay. The only ones I don't remember seeing were the Barbar, Cochonnette, & Adnams SSB (sorry borderline )

While I was there I even saw a couple of gift packs I didn't even know about, such as a Wellington twinpack w/ glass. Nothing spectacular, but a nice idea.

Hmm... They say that we all have to suffer equally the eccentricities of the lcbo, but it is just lies. LIES, I TELL YOU!!?!?! It is all personal... Look what they are doing. Appeasing the few potential allies I might possibly have, whilst destroying me utterly... But when I am gone, they'll be back for you. OH YES, YOUR TIME WILL COME TOO...

Ahem... Sorry... Going strange there for a moment...

Well, it is good that most of them have made it out, and I am keen to get some of the Sammy Smith's Winter Welcome (it will give me something to use the endless piles of glassware I have just accumulated for) and the Rogue Yellow Snow. I'll probably dip into some asam-bock too at some point. And I already have a fair amount of Terrible.

But for the Cochonnette and the Adnams SSB, the waiting continues...

Yep, you're on your own now...so very, very alone...

Er, I suppose I should say something more substantial than that, shouldn't I? Was back at the Atrium just now, and the winter warmers have been practically decimated already! Sweet Jebus you people are fast! (Or whoever got to them.) Good thing I got my Terrible yesterday.

btw, anyone heard any more about that rumour borderline mentioned once about the LCBO stocking Terrible permanently if it sells well in this release? That would be nice...so it'll probably never happen, then.

C'est la vie.

I think that the rumour came from someone fairly reliable, but it has been a while now and I have forgotten exactly who. Someone at Unibroue, I think. I guess we will see what happens in the New Year. Or perhaps someone from Unibroue will post to confirm or deny exactly what is happening...

Anyway, you can order Unibroue products, including Terrible, to Ontario direct from them. Just e-mail lefebvre@unibroue.com - I hope that I am not stepping on anyone's toes by posting that, I would not think I am as it is publicly available on this site in Maudite's profile anyway.

I hope that this is of some help.

I will now return to being so very, very alone...

I did know about that (thanks for the info anyway), but I'm a lazy, lazy man and it would just be a hell of a lot easier if the LCBO would just put it on their shelves . Anyway, we'll just have to wait and see what the future brings.

Terrible will not be made into a general listing at the LCBO. We released a certain amount of cases for the Winter Warmer promotion. If all goes well which our numbers are telling us, the LCBO will bring it back next year. Enjoy your terrible!

Does anyone else think it's funny the the Terrible is listed on the lcbo's website as "Terrible Beer"?

Thanks for clearing that up. Definitely not the answer I was hoping for, though . Oh well, at least there's always that other option.

We finally have word the Cochonette is going to start shipping out to stores this week.

Sorry about the wait (though no fault of OURS ...) and, more importantly, thanks for your support !!

Cheers, Paul

I was at the Summerhill LCBO on Sunday and picked up some of the winter release, including Terrible, Cochonnette, Rogue Yellow Snow and Barbar Winter Bok.

This one looks like a great release - I love the dark, hearty beers for the holiday season.

I couldn't bring myself to buy a George Gale after past experiences - has anyone tried it yet?
