If you could have one beer brought to the LCBO..
Red Racer ESB or IPA
Maybe even Phillips IPA
The price would have to be reasonable to be a regular buy, though. In B.C. these are decent value, but it's hard to say how the LCBO costs would affect them. I guess they can't be much more ridiculous than BC Liquor's pricing!

Victory Storm King.
A realistic choice, I believe, as we already have a Victory product in Ontario, and the brewery seems to have the capacity and desire to move into this market.
My unrealistic choice would be Nøgne Ø # 100.

We had Storm King about 5 years ago.
Double Bastard Ale is my choice.

Some world class beers and breweries being mentioned. I'm drooling just reading their descriptions on the beer sites.
I think for my money I'm going to choose Stone IPA. It's simple, good and it just recently converted my father from a lifetime of buying Europilsners to becoming interested in craft beer - so it's got some sort of super natural power as well

Third stone beer mentioned here. Good for them, they make serious beer. Heck even the pale ale puts most of our beers to shame.shintriad wrote:Hmm, just one? Probably North Coast Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout. Rah, Rah, Rasputin, and all that!
My first choice is actually Stone Smoked Porter, but that's a little specific for an everyday beer.

Well it wasn't me. By we I mean Ontario had access to it via LCBO. I remember it was like $1.95 a bottle.
Anyway, I know Victory was fed up with the labeling reqs and decided not to service LCBO anymore, though that has clearly changed with the addition of Prima Pils.
