What're you drinking right now?
As ritzkiss posted, we were in Buffalo yesterday, and had some excellent stuff, my favourites of which were the hannsens and the de proef. I've been down with the funk lately, so that's no big surprise. The hannsen's was especially good because of the location.
Brought some awesome stuff back, a ton of Drie Fonteinen, some Cantillon Lou Pepe, Ommegang Ommegeddon, Fantome Hiver, Ayinger Weizenbock. Mostly krieks, geuzes, lambics and wild ales... the same sort of stuff you'd usually find in the LCBO.

a few pints of homebrewed IPA. actually, at 7.5% and 109IBU, it's probably somewhere between an IPA and an IIPA... perhaps an iIPA? our first non-hopocalypse ipa in 4 years, well hopped (17oz in 10gal) with simcoe, warrior, amarillo, columbus, chinook, centennial, and cascade. delicious!
speaking of which, i think it's time for a refill...

Drinking a homebrew pilsner right now, just had a Commodore Perry IPA from Great Lakes in Ohio. Reminded me of the Yellow Snow, but I like it much better.

Mmmmmm, The 2004 was by far the best in my opinion, but all were drinkable, though the 2009 was definitely a bit young and disjointed feeling and definitely needs to be aged a bit to let it come together.

given the potency, perhaps horizontal would be a more apt termBobsy wrote:Nice vertical!Duct Tape wrote:Fullers Vintage Ale 2004
