Also had Duggan's # 9 on tap. Wow, a completely different beer than what you get in the bottle.
HA! Exactly what I drank last night, though at The Embassy. Both really nice beers, and I agree with both your assessments. The Duggan #9 really is different on draught, isn't it? I think I prefer the keg to the bottle. Seems lighter in colour on tap too, though that's likely just my "imagination". Also, toss in a Hop Addict at Cloak and Dagger for good measure, and that was my night.

Great minds think alike.

To chase a glass of Myer's Rum (really good liquor and a bargain at LCBO), I pulled out a canned Budweiser last night I bought recently on a whim. Not a worldbeater but not bad, throwing a good bead and the malt and rice combining nicely (for the style). The yeast background is quite evident and informs the signature taste of this beer. More hops would be good though, that is the one thing I would change.
Cantillon Lou Pepe Framboise 2005
Cantillon Lou Pepe Kriek 2006
Cantillon Fou Foune 2004
Norrebro Helene Heather
The Fou Foune was amazing - huge apricot and a wonderful tartness... I'll need to get some more of that one! The Norrebro was great... too bad its now all sold out otherwise I'd be after a case!
A bomber of Duvel with one of the new glasses. I dig the engraved "D" on the bottom of the glass. It creates a nice stream of bubbles from the carbonation up the centre.
