So does that mean that the LCBO, which as I understand it took issue with the name Aphrodisiaque, has no such qualms about names that contain bastard?
What, no Oaked Double Bastard? Sheesh, what's the point?tsm87 wrote:Try an Arrogant Bastard Flight

Seriously, though - fantastic line-up! Should be a smashing (and smashed...) afternoon.

There's a wine precedent thanks to Fat Bastard. I wouldn't put it past them to be inconsistent and refuse Arrogant Bastard despite the precedent, but it appears they've made sense for once.TJ wrote:2010.tsm87 wrote:Sunday February 7th, 2009

Amazing that you can't call a beer Aphrodisiaque yet Red Bull can throw 8 cups of coffee worth of caffeine into a 2 oz bottle and sell it in a grocery store with the tag line "the only shot that can make you fly".

Damn, I'm going to be in California for this. Guess I'll just have to content myself with a night at the World Bistro during the Stone Winter Storm.

... or do they snobbishly assume Wine People have a less literal-minded sense of humor?Bobbyok wrote:There's a wine precedent thanks to Fat Bastard. .TJ wrote:

Oh my GOD...that's a ridiculous lineup! Do you have to bring your own liver donor or will they be selling those there too?Steve Beaumont wrote:Damn, I'm going to be in California for this. Guess I'll just have to content myself with a night at the World Bistro during the Stone Winter Storm.

I don't always piss in a bottle but when I do...I prefer to call it Dos Equis.
