finished the night with the Ola Dubh 40!

Thanks Doug!

This is the kind of beer you have trouble getting off your palate.
The aroma was pretty insane.

Felt pretty mellow and relaxed after this sucker!

Le Troue de Diable La Buteuse Brassin Special

Biergotter dubbel (bonus infection included!)

And a brutal Quebecois malt liquor!

Pretty rough weekday morning met us this morning!
It was indeed a rough morning, and I concur that the malt liquor was brutal. If you want the worst drinking experience of your life go pick yourself up a Griffes du Diable. The JPs and La Butuese Brassin Special were pretty damn tasty, though!

Just finished a bottle of Rogue Mom Hefeweizen. It's alright. It's actually more witbier than hefe. Like the Albino Python I drank yesterday, it's also brewed with ginger. It's just a lot less in your face about the ginger. It's decent, but I liked the Albino Python a lot more.

Just draining a lovely litre bottle of Howe Sound Brewing's Bailout Bitter. A real nice take on an English Golden Ale, with a great balance of malt and bitterness. Man, a litre doesn't last long enough 8)

I'm drinking a litre of something right now from Newfoundland... and it has lasted too long... I'll leave it unmentioned for respect reasons as I'm sure I just let the bottle age too long (or something). But I've had more body in a cola.
Granted, it did add a lot of nice flavour to my beer mashed potatoes and a touch of NL savory to really give it balance.

Maybe, I'm a little harsh, because it is flavourful... just not a litre's worth.

I don't always piss in a bottle but when I do...I prefer to call it Dos Equis.
