Unibroue 11 is only available at Ciros in the West End of the City. Infact, there are only 2 licensees that carry Unibroue 11 since it sold out very quickly. 2004 Edition is coming very shortly.

i went there last nite. nice, non assuming pub with good atomsphere. beer list is extensive and modestly priced. it's been added to the list of pub i'll stop at, which in all honesty, is pretty large.

I met a couple of friends Ciro's a few nights ago, and had a chance to try some of their food for the first time.

I had one of the many stir-fry dishes that they have on the menu (black-bean with shrimp on noodles), and it was very good, and very, VERY large - I could only eat about 2/3 of it. One of my friends had a burger, which is also massive, and which he proclaimed to be one of the best he's had in town. His wife had one of the soups, which she wasn't quite as enthralled with, but which was still OK.

All in all, given the reasonable prices (I don't think there's anything on the menu more than 8 or 9 bucks), the portion sizes and the generally good quality, we gave the food a big thumbs up.

Oh, and the beer is still great as well.

I understand that there a good deal of people out there who think that the only good beer is a belgium/wheat/fruity beer. How ever there are some who enjoy a good pilsner, is there anything there in that realm?

Ciro's has at least a couple of good pilsners & lagers available. I had a Christoffel Blond last time I was there, and I'm pretty sure I saw Pilsner Urquell and Czechvar in the fridge.
