Lagers: More than meets the Lawnmower June 12 at the Rhino

Post by trebel19 »

The Canadian Amateur Brewers Association is hosting a day of Lagers and Lager Brewing June 12 (10 - 5) at The Rhino Bar and Grill in Toronto's west end.

Lagers don't have to be pale, yellow and fizzy.

Ray Daniels, author of numerous books on beer and brewing will be speaking about the plethora of lager styles and how they contrast the mass produced mass marketed brands. He has won over 100 awards in his 20 year brewing career, and is speaking in Canada for a limited engagement.

Mike Duggan will be talking about opening up and making beer in his new brewpub in Toronto. Mike will be familiar to most Bar Towel regulars, as is his passion for great beer.

The day includes:
Ray Daniels
Mike Duggan
Many Samples and Tasters
Buffet Lunch with a Pint
Souvenir Glass
Door Prizes
..and Much More

Tickets are $70 for CABA and Bar Towel members and must be purchased in advance.

See http://www.homebrewers.ca/calendar.php for all the details.
