New Miller Bottles

Post by SteelbackGuy »

I think it was miller anyway.Has anyone seen this commercial? I only saw it once, but these new bottles have a ribbed neck of the bottle on the inside, that way the "real pilsner" taste is delivered by an extra swirling through these ribs. It is the silliest thing I've seen.
If you`re reading this, there`s a 15% chance you`ve got a significant drinking problem. Get it fixed, get recovered!

If you recall, pre-Molson Creemore bottles and a special step neck bottle and the writing on the back lable claimed it somehow made the beer taste better.

It's the new Vortex Bottle from Miller Lite.

And it's almost here.

Ha! Vindication! I have an ongoing argument with my friends about the very existence of this glorious invention before our drinking days (I'm 29). None of them can believe such a thing was ever created. Must have been early 90's? LGD bottles I believe? Round the same time as the LGD polygonal cans and just before the free Junkhouse CD singles, haha!

What is a BBO? I wasn't legal age any any point in the 90's, so I have no idea what this stands for.

BBO was the "Bottom Bottle Opener". A beercap shaped indentation on the bottom of every bottle that you could insert your fresh beer into and twist, ergo unleashing the cap on your next brew. A wonderful footnote in the text of the salad days of beer gimmickry.

They should try a "reverse vortex" like how toilets flush in reverse in Australia! Imagine the taste!

BBO was miller high life and it was the late 80's.

i'm pretty sure that packed away somewhere I still have a green jelly and the junkhouse sampler cd's.

32-sided cans. Brilliant.
