Happy to announce the latest brewery partner of The Bar Towel / Free Our Beer, Picaroons of Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Along with this announcement I'm happy to launch a private order for Picaroons of five of their fine ales: Best Bitter, Man's Best Friend Porter, Timber Hog Stout, Yippee IPA and the new Feel's Good Pilsner. Cases are available in 16 x 500mL bottles at $64 each.

You can find out more and place your order securely online here:

Any questions, please let me know.

Any KW area people interested in splitting cases, please pm me. I'm contemplating a case of each, if there is enough interest to share.

Hey gang,

It would seem that the SSL certificate expired overnight, it should be OK again by the morning. All should be OK to put in orders by then. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Gonna order some of this tommorow. What sort of time line are we looking at from order to delivery?(I realize the last Garrison Order took inordinately long)

Everything's ok with the order page now.

Since the credit card info is on the initial order page now that saves time. But the LCBO says an order could take up to three months once submitted. Might be faster but they won't make any guarantees.

That Imperial 'Pils' sounds really interesting... odd that they used Ringwood yeast though.

BTW, they've got their brewing journal online:

Problem; I'm entering the number of cases (1 for Best Bitter, 1 for Pilsner) but it keeps flagging an error as " This question is mandatory. Please complete all parts". Problem?

Whoops, sorry about that. Try just putting in '0' for the brands you don't want.

Of the five that cass is getting from Picaroons, I would say Best Bitter is the best on the list. If cass is able to do an order with Picaroons later in the year he should try to get Winter Warmer on that list, its (IMO) their best beer and most people around Fredericton agree.
