George, great to see the SOBs continuing with the well organized events!

We're doing an informal event in Regina, just brewing at one member's house, friends and family are welcome, and we'll be cooking up some real BBQ too.

I love group brewing sessions, or even just hanging out with someone while they brew. You learn so much by seeing what works for other people.

Well, clearly Mark will have his hands full in Regina, but Derek, there's no excuse for you staying home in BC!

Hey guys

As you may know, Brian is once again supporting the SOBs, sponsoring our event, bringing his store "live" to the Amsterdam on November 6th.

This is a good chance to meet him face-to-face, talk to him about what your options are, and save on the cost of shipping. In fact, you can order from him ahead of time, and he will have your package ready for you when you show up that day.

For all the new brewers, if you are coming out to the Amsterdam to Learn2Brew, drop by his table, fill out a ballot, and you could WIN a start-up kit!

Cheers

Hi SOB's

This year, along with bringing down orders from those who have bought before the show, I want to donate a "startup kit" containing a plastic primary, glass carboy 2nd'ary, paddle, hydrometer, beer thief etc.... All the equipment needed to make that first batch.

I'm thinking that every "Friend" who is being taught to homebrew by an SOB can get a ballot and the winner will get the kit. This way we can get those interested setup and ready to make their first batch a.s.a.p.
