Glad to report that the Sam Smith Old Brewery Pale Ale has been replaced with the India (Pale) Ale in the "Selection" 3-pack. Just grabbed one today, along with the Duvel giftpack and the Winter Welcome, St. Peter's Winter, and Fuller's Vintage Ale. Thanks for your help here Len!

On the floor Monday at Yonge-Dundas - no mug - 12.95.

The ONLY lcbo.com listing (with no inventory yet showing) is now 13.95 WITH mug. Price was just changed.

I think I've figured out the confusion re: the Hirschbrau package.

The original product listing from the LCBO included both of these:

189480 / Hirschbrau 3 Bottle Gift Pack with Mug / $12.95 / 3x500 / new
189506 / Bavarian Alps 3 Collector Bottle Gift Pack / $12.95 / 3x500 / new

In the store (at the Atrium location, at least), it's on the floor with an info card that identifies it using details from the FIRST line above - i.e. named "Hirschbrau 3 Bottle Gift Pack with Mug" even though there's no mug in the package, and with SKU 189480.

However, I looked at my receipt, and it rang though under the name and number from the SECOND line above.

It's also SKU 189506 that has all of the inventory listed, while SKU 189480 has none.

I suppose there's a chance that there might still be a version coming with the mug included. But it's more likely that they were planning on getting a version with the mug and created a SKU for it, but then got a mug-less one and created a new SKU, forgetting to remove the first.

Thanks for the clarification Greg. I was wondering what the Bavarian Alps thing was.

Anyone know what beers are in the St. Peter's Twinpack?

I got confirmation today that there are two different Hoss/Hirschbrau giftpacks after all.

The one WITHOUT the mug, which is detailed above, is this one:
189506 / Bavarian Alps 3 Collector Bottle Gift Pack / $12.95 / 3x500 / new

The one WITH the mug, which is still to come, is this one:
189480 / Hirschbrau 3 Bottle Gift Pack with Mug / $12.95 / 3x500 / new

The price on the latter is incorrect, it will actually be $13.95 (as indicated on the LCBO website). And it will have a couple of different beers from the first one.

1 must have, 1 other I would drink and 4 I haven't the slightest interest in revisiting. I really hope the Netherworld will be available on its own shortly.

Sigh.

I hope the Netherworld is also available on its own. This is not a very good 6 pack overall and not worth buying just for Netherworld.

Yeah - theres no way I would pick this up just for the Netherworld. This is pretty bunk if you ask me.

A very disappointing discovery pack. At least Barrie is only a 20 minute drive!
