I just recently tried it, and I was actually surprised at how good it was. It's definitely the best offering in their line up. A full flavour from a beer that doesn't seem as heavy as many other dark ales.

I had never paid much attention to Muskoka's beers, and considered them pretty average any time I'd tried them. But last fall, I visited their booth at the Yorkville beer walk, and was impressed by both their Lager and Cream Ale. IIRC, the person serving the beer said that they had changed something last year - perhaps they got a new brewmaster, but I can't remember exactly - but whatever it is, the quality of their beer has seemed to improve because of it.

Hey guys
Thanks for the comments about our beers recently. Over the past year and a bit all the beer has been made by George Eagleson former, Upper Canada and Black Oak. He will be very happy to hear that you are liking his beers! I will let him know.
