If you don't like a brewery, you don't like a brewery. I find most Mill Street product, esp. if bought at the brew pub, to be a waste of time. I wouldn't dream of telling you that you're missing something, unless you've only tried three different Rogue beers -- that's just too small a sampling pool to go by.

Looking at what the AFIC Group carry, I'd be ordering some Chocolate Stout and Shakespeare Stout, as well as taking a shot at the Chatoe Rogue Dirtoir Black Lager and the Double Chocolate Stout if they were available. I'd love some Old Crusty and Imperial Stout as well, although they aren't listed on AFIC site.

While there are certainly some average beers in the Rogue stable (IMO), the Shakespeare Stout and the Chocolate Stout are two of the best in their styles (IMO) and I would certainly be interested in getting some if the price was right.

The Shakespeare Stout is the only Rogue beer that I have been impressed with enough to buy again. It is a very good beer. All in all I have tried about 6 or 7 of their offerings and that is the only memorable one...

I really like many of Rogue's beers and have had some of them as seasonal releases from the LCBO over the years. Included among these are:

Brutal Bitter
Yellow Snow IPA
Dead Guy
Hazelnut Brown Nectar
Kells Irish Style Lager
Half-E-Weizen

Others I have tried at festivals or while in other provinces/states. I've tried 14 different beers from this brewery.

The Yellow Snow IPA is coming back to the LCBO, so keep your eyes open for it.
