new Mill Street offering

Post by GregClow »

Just saw on the Mill Street website that they've got a new seasonal beer available at the brewery:

---

Mill Street Organic Pilsner
(4.8% alc./vol.)

Our current specialty beer is Mill Street Organic Pilsner. This continental lager has a deep golden hue, a giant rocky white head and a malty sweet nose. The first taste is sweet, but leads quickly to a dry, hoppy, bitter finish in the German style. Mill Street Pilsner is an excellent accompaniment to food or an excellent thirst quencher on its own.

---

I'll be down at the Distillery this weekend for the Woofstock dog festival, so I'll likely stop is for a taste and a six-pack.

Yes, it's a special seasonal beer. From the description, it sounds like it's darker and hoppier than the regular Lager.

The website says that they're selling six-packs at the brewery, so I'm planning on picking one up on Sunday when I'm down there. If you want a bottle or two, we can get together next week or something.

In case anyone's forgotten, there's a beer show next week down at St. Lawrence Market. Even if they don't bring it, it's not a long walk to the district at that point.
