Exactly. Happens all the time. Usually with a restaurant order.
You don't pick it up, we sell it. I've lucked out in the past with Chimay Blue Bombers and Victory Storm King, and others.
It is a good beer, though a re-brand of their IPA from years past.

Yup. When stuff from private orders goes to the floor, it is usually at a discounted rate as to sell it fast. I think I paid $1.50 for Storm Kings and $4.00 for Chimay Blue 750s.

Sick prices! I realize the usual 'responsible socialism' pricing policy goes out the window on sales. The original customer has after all already paid 50% of the order cost, and it's a one-off thing.SteelbackGuy wrote:Yup. Damn I was hoping to go over after worktoweringpine wrote:It is going fast. I had a friend grab 2 - 6ers for me and one for himself. He said there were only three left and that was a couple hours ago! I am looking forward to trying it tonight. If it lives up to the reviews, what a great bargain!

There were 8 more sixers after I grabbed 1 about a half hour ago. They are stacked on flats in a clearance section between the beer section and the front of the store.
Cashier pulled out a calculator to figure out what the blazes 1.5 x 6 equals.
