That's a really neat idea!

We welcome you up to Barrie! If im not at the Brewery ask for kaitlyn.

In terms of distribution, it will likely be available from the store only but as per usual -we haven't figured that shit out yet. We don't want to create any false hype or demand for this beer as it was an experiment. Christian gave me the idea to try a vertical tasting. Hence, vintage releases ensure I have to hold back cases.
Sorry it was long winded.

Peace!

The only one I know of that's even close was the accidental 37hr Simcoe SMASH:

I must admit I've never been a fan of Flying Monkeys' packaging/labels - but I am SUPER excited about the prospect of picking this up on a regular basis. I hope to see some more Netherworld on the shelves as well. Keep up the good work, FM!

good to see. had a pint of this at chanceys around xmas and it was sublime. Cant wait to buy alot of this. I am digging the netherworld and have already bought more of this than any other brew in the past few years. Any idea when the new batch will be released? and looking forward to more from your brewery.

Had a pint of this at Bar Volo on Friday and it was pretty tasty. Serious hop-heads might not find it strong enough though. Would've been nice to see them go the Imperial or Double IPA route on this one as there is a serious lack of these kinds of beers here in Ontario. On the plus side, it seems like a beer that you wouldn't get sick of with regular drinking. It had a hoppy enough body with a nice clean finish from what I remember. They may be going a bit overboard with the packaging though. This beer will not make you Duck and Cover. =)

Yeah...I see your point.....I was just thinking of easing everyone into the DIPAs and Imperials. After Divinity, we are conjuring a beast of an IPA+++ and finishing it with late/dry hop additions of an experimental hop called Faulkner's Flight. I don't think anyone in Canada has used this hop yet (I'm not sure the variety has any published description). Four cases just came in the door today and I plan to cast it very very soon. I saw pictures of the crop in the experimental fields last year and put my name at the top of the list!

I'm sure you'll be able to catch it in a cask at Gambrinus in London very very soon.

Yours in brewing,
Peter

Our packaging is one of those things you either hate it or live with it. I guess we are kind of latent hippies. Thanks for supporting Netherworld!

Cheers to the 420!

I for one think your packaging is great Peter. No matter if people drink beer or not in the LCBO people always stop and look at Hoptical or Netherworld and 9 times out of 10 they walk away with the 6 pack.

Oh, and the stuff in the bottle kicks a little ass as well. I look forward to Smashbomb at the LCBO.
