No one is really sure what Belgian does. I always presumed he was a full time poster.

I'm a marketer, which means I drink labels.

Belgian refuses to be defined by simply one job. He's complex. He does things. He knows people. Some speculate that he gets paid to drive to Buffalo for beer every week, but some of us know that it is far more complicated than that...

Wow never realized my occupation was such a pastime among the BT idle. ;)

Still, whatever I do is not what I am... it does not define me. Unless it's a full-time engagement as amateur beer tester-outer. Even then, I still maintain a kernel of unrestrained maverick identity.

The Smashbomb story was on page 2 of the Toronto Sun today, with a mention of Bartowel as well!

Peter's talking about this on CBC Radio 1 right now.

I'd like to see this issue turned into the new UBB - if only beer geeks were as passionate as computer geeks.

Seemed to have just missed as they just started talking to a Birch Syrup producer just as I tuned in. How did the discussion go?

I only caught the end of it myself - I was notified about it from my mom. Although it sounded like they covered most of the major points that have been brought up in this thread.

Glad to see this issue picking up steam though.

I think he's intentionally manufactured the issue for the publicity.
