Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Couple of updates on this release:
1) Despite the original announcement saying that it would be in stores around the end of June, it's now planned for the end of May.
2) Stock of Double Dead Guy will be quite low - only 20 cases, I've been told - so it will be limited to around 5 stores (with Summerhill and Cooper St. being likely for Toronto). The rest of the beers will be available in 25 locations.

I have grown weary of the LCBO's nonsensicalness when it comes to distribution. I will be surprised if even 1 of those stores will be in Niagara with a total population of over 500,000, but i won't be surprised to see 5-10 stores in Toronto be selected. Seriously...its just easier, cheaper, and less stressful to drive across the border and pick this stuff up in Buffalo. Screw you LCBO.

My wife follows Coles on her facebook for me since I'm a social media Luddite. I was considering going to Coles for lunch tomorrow actually since I need to pick some homebrew supplies from Niagara Traditions. Coles has come awesome french soup and some of the best burgers I've ever had. I cannot recommend that place enough
