Me too, I bought a 6 of it in Cape Breton last summer and I wish I bought more!

Hopyard will be my go to beer for a Saturday night until I can't find it anymore. Perfect beer for knocking a few back with the crew.

The Samuel Smiths Organic Raspberry Ale, Rose D'Hibiscus and the Christoffel Bier have all been on the shelf at Kingston & Morningside LBCO for at least a week now. Hopefully the others are not far behind.

I'm slowly getting better so Hopyard sounds like my go-to beer for summer 2011. Mainly that plus a few S&S Wiesen Edel-Weisse, Dom Vobiscum Blanche etc.

Folks, I've split off the portion of this thread that devolved into whining about the LCBO into a new thread called "Another thread for whining about the LCBO":

http://www.bartowel.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=6771

Yes, the thread title is a bit snotty, but frankly, I'm getting sick of so many threads on the forum getting derailed by the same circular discussions/arguments about why the LCBO does or doesn't suck. Especially when it's on threads that have a very specific purpose, such as discussing the beers in a particular release.

Apologies if anyone feels put out by this, but it's something that I may do again in the future should a similar situation arise. Because based on the couple of direct messages I received asking me if I could do anything about the thread drift, apparently I'm not the only person who feels this way.

A few bottles of La Trappe Tripel can be had at Weston and 401. Their labeled with the yellow vintages sticker but can be found on the imported beer shelf section (not the usual vintages section) alongside Carolus, Norrebro etc. Price: $6.95. Can you taste the silence?

I've seen a few on the list already, but sadly no 2xIPA. Has anyone seen it yet?

It is not even listed in LCBO's inventory yet. It will be at least another week...

All the summer release is showing up in the beer garden on the LCBO's page. Looks like a lot of what I am looking for will be released later in May, June & July. http://lcbo.ca/products/beer/en/conveyer/premium.shtml

I've had this one in the UK. It smells and tastes exactly like banana bread. Once is enough though, and I am open to fruit beers.
