Last night, I had an opportunity to try out what the Hodgins fellas were brewing at the Aston Pub, but at Paddy's, it was a pretty good cream ale, I look forward to what they make in the future.

Today?
Hopcity Barking Squirrel

Millstreet Belgian Wit

I also just got back from my first trip to Broue Ha ha.

So, I cracked a St. Ambroise Raspberry, then a St Ambroise IPA.

Wow this thread was almost pushed off the page! I guess things were getting too serious around here.

Drinking some more brewery-fresh Smashbomb acquired earlier today. $37 a case! Best deal in Ontario.

I'm into my Quebec Haul tonight...

1) Charlevoix ESB (which I didn't really like - may have been too old)

2) Right now a glass of Lievre Imperiele IPA (I like the 1 L flip top so I can just grab a glass) - it's not bad, but tastes very Britishy...

3) I'll finish the night with Simple Malt Imperial Stout which I've never tried but it sounds pretty decent...

Gotta says, some of these beer I brought back are just "Meh"...granted I'm saving my LTM for last...

Beau's Festivale. Really like that beer. Probably my favourite of theirs, though the Screaming Beaver IPeh was also pretty good.

I really liked the Night Marzen last year and can't wait to see what that'll be like in bottles...

When buying in Quebec, always trust ratebeer for brewery reputation. Some of the "we have 'em all" bottle shops even save shelf space for those beers I'd buy only when in dire need of a vinaigrette and too lazy to go to the grocery store.

Today with JB84, before and during bottling 2 batches of homebrew:

8 Wired The Big Smoke - starting to like smoked beers more and more
Abbaye des Rocs Triple Imperiale - gusher, but still tasted good
St. Bernardus Abt 12 - needed more age on it, but still great
Muskoka Mad Tom
sampled homebrew Barley Wine and RIS before bottling each.
