Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Propeller ESB is great!Philip1 wrote:My first ever Propeller ESB. For some reason I just never got around to it. Anyway, it's good to know there's more happening in Nova Scotia than Keith's. Waiting on deck from the opposite coast is another Canadian first for me - Central City Red Racer IPA.
I'm drinking a bottle of 3 Fonteinen Schaerbeekse Kriek. My case showed up today, so I figured I'll drink one now and save the rest for later. This is probably the best kriek I have ever had. Beats everything else easily.

It was very good. Not a style that I generally gravitate towards, so I don't have a lot of experience with other examples of the style. I am looking forward to th e Dubbel more than I was to this one...jprime wrote:How was the saison. Got one last week to try. Might wait on it for a bit and concentrate on my hoppy stash while its fresh.

Great Lakes Red Leaf Lager, better than I thought it would be. Far redder colour than I expected, but still not a lot of flavour to it. Happy I tried it, not sure I'd buy it again.
And a Southern Tier 2XIPA. Damn, that's a good IPA. Probably one of my favourites.
And the lady had a Dieu du Ciel! Rosee d'Hibiscus beer, of which I found a few at the Manulife LCBO. Nice surprise after not seeing it at my local LCBO for a few months.
Also hoping to open up a bottle of Quelque Chose later tonight.
