Normally I would agree, but the RIS is the exception. It is a fantastic beer and I am going to grab a lot of it...Wray77 wrote:You know the LCBO is really dropping the ball when St. Ambroise is the star of the release.TheSevenDuffs wrote:Not bad. The St. Ambroise RIS is the star of the release IMO. Others I will pick up include Monster & Nogne O.
Kinda getting tired of Creme Brulee...

Those are the only ones that I'll be actively seeking out. A majorly underwhelming release; but then again, disappointment is what the LCBO specializes in. And we were quite spoiled with the Fall/Halloween/Oktoberfest releases (by Ontario standards at least).Stroonze wrote: St. Ambroise Russian Imperial Stout - 341 ml - Quebec

This is funny, some of these are already at my store.
Anyway, not spectacular in terms of the # of products when compared to some of the last few releases. But in terms of quality and cellerable stuff, I'm not terribly disappointed and will pick up a few of those for future drinking.

If you`re reading this, there`s a 15% chance you`ve got a significant drinking problem. Get it fixed, get recovered!
Now I'm even more excited about being back for the holidays!

I predict that the Dominus Vobiscum Double will be the surprise star of the show. It's a great beer fresh, and even better if you leave it for a year.

Good to see that they're starting to get this info out via the website - hope it continues with future releases.
