Well, who would bring the products in then, if there is no agent?Belgian wrote:For counter-argument, ALL the barriers nick mention exist because the LCBO exists in place of normal retail. If we had Consumers Beverage-style stores here, they would:So, 2, maybe 3 of the 4 are nothing to do with the LCBO?
a) need no agent
We have Consumers Beverage-style stores in Edmonton, yet due to the laws of the land, all alcohol has to come in via a licensed agent and has to be warehoused. An individual can't just go out and court a brewery anywhere in the world, without first being licensed and have an agreement with the supplier.
Are you now saying it should be a free for all?
And the OP has proven that the LCBO isn't really a barrier, as their private order of Cantillon arrived in good time, and didn't cost the earth.
the OP didnt get this order in ontario so it doesnt have anything to do with the LCBOTorontoblue wrote:Well, who would bring the products in then, if there is no agent?Belgian wrote:For counter-argument, ALL the barriers nick mention exist because the LCBO exists in place of normal retail.
