That BC sour seems to be pretty widely thought of as the best widely available sour in the Lower Mainland.

It will nice to have Geuze (assuming it is Oud Beersel) and Hopsinjoor back. I'm looking forward to try Ename Pater.

I'm not sure if it has changed, but Horizon Beers currently partners with Oud Beersel, alongside lots of others in Walloon. The listing is their standard geuze.

Would still like R+R to change their tactics to get some Boon geuze in stores.

I wonder how R&R are doing nowadays. Haven't seen them around the forum for a while. I wonder if the LCBO beer team still does the "you're either in or out" with no explanation of why, when it comes to the beer selections.

I inquired about their listing in LCBOs and they said they tried to get the kriek in stores and LCBO rejected them. Didn't seem like there was a reason given. Though, because the kriek was just listed and the number of imports are so limited, perhaps the LCBO wanted a different beer. That's why I want them to try getting the geuze. Seems like it's been close to two decades since it was on shelves.

I don't fully understand the LCBO's practices, but I think we might also have the following available.

44317 Oude Kriek Vieille (Oud Beersel)
44314 Andechser Weissbier Hell
43780 Innis & Gunn Canadian Cherrywood Red Ale

43691 Oud Geuze Vieille 375

2017: $8.95
2025: $10.95

With inflation and greedflation seemingly always escalating, it's nice to see some stability. Yes, a crude and inaccurate measure, but general inflation would put this beer at around $11.25 in today's dollars.
