Never heard of them. Selection looks underwhelming. I'm lucky that I can't throw an empty beer can around me without hitting an LCBO that probably has most of these beers. (Centre of the Universe problem, I know).

These clubs interest me more if they get me access to hard to find beers. I suppose their prices are good, but I find it hard to believe they can run a business and undercut by much if any.

The prices are unbelievably good. $2.50 per can and they're showing Dominion City, Mascot, Sawdust.

Since I live in a small town with little selection (although I've had almost everything in the photo), combined with the price point, I'm quite intrigued.

EDIT: Deeper dive and this looks to be run by Express Brewery, which is the discount Brock St brewery brand. Express Blonde is one of the worst beers I've every had. I'd be very surprised if there were DC, SC or Mascot in any package. Mostly Express, Brock St and who knows what else... maybe expired beer from other breweries?? I don't know, seems suspect.
I used to sell beer. Now I don't.

Yeah, seems kinda weird. $2.50 a can is impossible for reselling other people's beer so probably is (as you pointed out) expired stock or cans breweries want to get rid of for some reason. They show a pic of Sawdust Twin Pines, which is over $4. There's just no way.

So I got a call this morning from Bloomex asking if I wanted to get in the beer club. I asked them how they got my number and they said it was from when I got the free 6 pack of Express Beer back in December 2023. Before I could say anything he asked me how that experience was, which I told him "the delivery was perfect, however the beer was awful". He laughed and asked me why, I just told him it tasted off/wasn't enjoyable. He asked if I'd be interested in the beer club, and said he'd give me discount on the first order (same one you get when you add the subscription to your cart), and I said "I don't want any Express Beer in there". He said there wouldn't be, that it was all from craft breweries around Ontario.

Long story short, I pulled the trigger and will be the BT guinea pig on this one I guess. Should be here tomorrow or Wednesday and I'll post the results. I plan to get a refund if it's full of Express or expired beer.

Thanks for taking the bullet for the team... very curious to hear how it goes.

Here's the story. Go pour yourself a "fresh" beer and read on...

So I received my beer delivery two day later, so quick and easy there. However before receiving my delivery I saw a Facebook ad for the service, which I clicked on, put the same item I had just ordered into my cart, and found out that I was overcharged by the person on the phone. He said it was the same deal as online, but it was not. I was overcharged about 6 bucks, so I already had a reason to contact them, but thought it was best to wait and see what arrived. I received 6 different beers (4 each): 4 Express Blonde (that I specifically was told there would be no Express beer), 3 different beers (12 total) from Ganaraska Brewery (2 of the 3 were brewed 7 months ago), and 2 different beers from Nickelbrook (the hazy ipa was 1 year old, the radler was 3 years old!!). So of the 24 beers, one 1 (4 beers) was fresh and not made by Express.

I sent them an email and asked them to call me. The next day they emailed back (instead of calling me) and asked me what the issue was. I told them the above and again, the next day, they emailed back saying they would issue me a refund. A couple of days later I did receive said refund.

Conclusion: if you don't care about canning dates, then I guess it's a good deal. But I can't imagine anyone in this group not caring about canning dates, so stay away.
