new pub to open May 1

Post by northyorksammy »

its going to be run by a lawyer from a large firm, who is a member of my health club. It will feature this new East Coast Celtic music, be located on Adelaide STreet and serve Molson's. Guy was not too sympathetic to craft beer. His rationale: "I give the pople what they want" and "They give the cheapest price"

Not from me...I can't see making a trip to go to another Irish wannabe pub....maybe if he can get Ashley McIsac to urinate on the bar he will stand out a bit from the others.

When I showed him all of the beer web pages, he said he wants to give the public what they want, not keep expensive stuff for odd people

speaking of this Celtic music,

if he can get Ashley McIsac to urinate on the bar he will stand out a bit from the others.
--I thought that was part of his act

You might remind him that 20 years ago, Montecristo's and single malts were expensive things for odd people....then again, it would probably be a wasted comment.
