Yeast on short notice?
Anyone know where one can get liquid yeast on short notice in the GTA (without mail ordering it)? Specifically looking for American Ale, but am interested in anything by the weekend.
I just noticed that was your first post. Welcome aboard!
You could probably arrange to pick it up from Randy in Brampton:

Pop by Fermentations on the Danforth. I've had success getting things last minute there.abbeyphile wrote:Anyone know where one can get liquid yeast on short notice in the GTA (without mail ordering it)? Specifically looking for American Ale, but am interested in anything by the weekend.

Let us know what they have at Fermentations. I was able to get excellent Wyeast Ardennes (3522) there last year on short notice but I was told that was the only liquid yeast they have as otherwise they use dry.
They had items like hydrometers and basic grains on hand but not much else for homebrewers unfortunately.
