Hop Head IPA coming to an LCBO store near you soon!

Post by Chris Stirling »

Tree Brewing would like to thank everyone who supported us in this forum with your positive comments and by purchasing our Hop Head Double IPA when it was released. Because of your support the LCBO has decided to approve our application for listing of Hop Head IPA 6 bottles in LCBO stores as a regular listing!

We still have a couple of steps to complete in the application process but we should be in stores before the end of the summer. Keep your eyes on this thread for updates.

Thank you for taking the time to post this, Chris.

I drank a lot of the Hophead when it was available, and was sad to see it run out so quickly.
Seeing this beer in a 6-pack format on a regular basis will be a delight.

Along with Smashbomb and Mad Tom, we could actually have several real Canada-brewed IPAs in the LCBO by the fall? Damn, this rules.

The brewery has done a very nice re-design of the bottles and packaging recently. Hophead was, for many years, the best IPA available in the country and one of the first and best to come out of B.C. It blazed a trail for sure. I remember back during my first stint in B.C. (91-99) driving all over Vancouver to find one of only two or three bars that had it on tap. I think it will be a great addition to what is currently available in Ontario.
I don't always piss in a bottle but when I do...I prefer to call it Dos Equis.

So do we start a pool on how long it takes to get delisted?

Good news for the time being at least.

Let's throw some Garrison in there to represent the East Coast. For balance and all. Someone get onthat, willya?

I'm out, but I'm sure Eeyore would be game.
