Drinking Made Easy: Season 2

Post by cannondale »

Premieres first week of October on HDNet.

Apparently they travel to 4 Canadian cities as part of their tour this time round...Montreal, Quebec, Toronto and Vancouver.

I'm interested to see which bars, breweries or distilleries they visit in Toronto and Montreal in particular.

Anybody hear anything?

havent heard anything related to the show, though I would like to see those episodes. I did hear that Rogers is getting rid of HDNet starting November 1st, which is disappointing. Hopefully the Canadian episode(s) will be shown in October.

The Vancouver part of the show was on HD Net tonight. Will be repeated later this evening and then during the week.

For the beer part they went to Alibi Room. Pretty good segment with Nige.

The show should be available in the usual 'download' places shortly.

So, Season 3 of Drinking Made Easy is currently showing on Axs TV, and is only available to Canadians through "illegal' means.

Anyway, last weeks show was from Montreal, and there was a BT regular doing an interview with the Shane & the Mascot; a certain Ian Guénard.

Looked like you had a little bit of fun with them?

Hmm, I would have suspected we would have heard about a show shooting in TO, like a couple of weeks back with Fieri or the summer with Bourdain. Clearly not the same kind of high profile however, but didn't hear anything about it.

could have been one of those days where beerbistro was closed for a private event

Whoa. When did Anthony Bourdain film in Toronto? Has the episode shown yet?

Bourdain was there in the summer. This episode of his new show, The Layover, will be shown early next year, I believe, on The Travel Channel.

Just a shame it's not in HD in Canada (or on SHAW at least), as it's on the Travel + Escape channel.

Time to grab from elsewhere.

You lucky Rogers customers! Oh well, I'll download and don't have to suffer the numerous ad breaks.

I've been watching the Layover and I like it. Helps that 2 recent episodes were Chicago and Philly and I've been to both of those places in the last month!

Bourdain has a pic of Beast on the web site right now, and I know he hit up a bunch of places in Kensington for the show.
