Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

This is a long shot... anyone know if you can get any decent beer once you're through security at the airport? I have a friend that's heading down and only bringing carry on. -.-

There's an Anchor bar, Terminal 3 Boarding Area F near Gate 70, Post-Security
Hours: Daily, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
There's also SF Uncork'd there, too, selling wines & craft ales, and a Gordon Biersch.

I haven't been in a couple of years, but my reco is to not stay downtown, it's not great. I've stayed at a B&B in the Sunset area near Golden Gate Park & Haight/Ashbury and it's awesome. Much better to be in the 'hoods rather than the downtown hotel district IMO.ercousin wrote:Going to tour San Francisco and surrounding area in July. Any recommendations on places to stay?
