Koningshoeven Launch and Trappist Beer Dinner

beerbistro brings you another ground-breaking beer event. Come join us in celebrating the official launch of the Koningshoeven (aka La Trappe) Trappist Ales on draught in Canada.

Tuesday November 27th, from 5 pm to 10 pm, we invite you to come and enjoy all five incredible Trappist beers: the Witte - the world’s first and only Trappist white beer; the Blond - which carries a fresh fruity taste with delicate bitterness; the Dubbel - with a ruby colour and touch of sweetness; the Tripel - a powerful dark blond bittersweet ale; and the Quadrupel - a unique and full bodied beer aged for years in the cellars of the abbey.

While it was intended to serve all five beers on draught, the kegs of the Blond and Dubbel will not be arriving in time, so they will be served from bottles. The other three - Witte, Tripel and Quadrupel - will be on tap for the event.

The evening will also feature a Prix-Fixe Beer Dinner that will showcase all five of the Koningshoeven Trappist Ales. Details of the dinner are still to be confirmed, but it is expected that tickets will be around $60 (plus tax and tip) for four courses, an amuse-bouche, and all five beers.
